It’s is any piece of knowledge you have that has been turned in to some form of content for others to consume. It could be in print, digital or hardcopy, audio format like this podcast, or even a video.
There are many ways to package up your information product. Some of the most popular are:

- E-book
- Manuals or workbook
- Audio CDs or download
- DVDs or YouTube videos
- Webinars
- Subscription web site
The key is taking your knowledge and turning it into something that others can get value from without you needing to deliver it in person.
